Not his last game. He managed until the end of the season. 5 more games

I remember seeing us win 3-0 at Blackburn in the late seventies.
I think this is the game that we break our away duck, and I think we might win the game as well.

Derby come back 8 mins to go and my dad snugging away next to me it shocked me the most not to mention when derby fans were mocking camp shouting campy campy what’s the score and we sang it back to them when we equalised. Shocking but funny

    Team for Saturday

    Rodak
    Jones wood Robertson mattock
    ajayi manning
    Williams Towell Taylor
    Vassell

I don't think the away win at MK was at all shocking. I think lol is referring to the whole NW 'story' as shocking. I for one never believed or thought he would pull it off.

I doubt there are many games come close to Saturday for 'shock' value. I do remember a Sunday game in the mid 80s at Millmoor where The Cobblers completely outplayed us, were 2-0 up and we walked off with a 2-2 draw if I remember right. I was living in Northampton at the time and had traveled up for the weekend with a workmate who was fan of theirs.

I did predict we would go unbeaten in November and I still think that’s the case.
    3 points Saturday.
I can feel it in my water.

All great games being a Miller but I've not seen us out played, out classed & still win like Saturday for hell of a long time.

That's right Narden. Howard Kendall was their manager and they were in threat of relegation that season until they had an incredible run after Christmas (including a 3-1 win at Millmoor) gaining promotion.
