Supposed to be a high speed rail link from London to Birmingham and the North. Not any more, they're still going to be throwing obscene amounts of money at it, but guess where it won't be going now.

The postcode lottery exists alright Alf. There are zillions of statistics and empirical evidence to prove it. For instance a child born in Eastbourne right now will in all probability live ten years longer than one born in Wythenshawe.

Get cancer in London and you have a 3-1 better survival chance than if you get it in Liverpool. That HS2 malarkey was yet another London inspired fraud. All the money has gone into developing the train station and infrastructure in London. They do us over every time!

sinkov, we already have the wall on the south side but there is a shortage of bricklayers on this side ---they are all working down south!
