Remember spending one lesson in primary school trying to draw the Bukta logo.

Can't see that happening with today's stars.
    Nice one.

Captained my football teams all the way through primary then secondary schools and never once scored. Only played one position the whole time, centre half. Played for South Shields boys team again as centre half, always fancied myself as a winger but it wasn't to be. First game was against Sunderland Boys, we beat them 3-1, never forget those games, magic.

Never captained the side was always a solid CB.

More you're Clarke than Lascelles but i was reliable and few people got past me.

Mind you at school they wanted me out of football and into rugby, apparently my build was more suited to it

Not sure why the picture didn't come up, just the link. Not exactly a childhood memory, but it is over 30 years ago.

I'm the one on the left , pictured on the back of the West Briton ( a bit like the Chronicle), playing for Truro City against Penzance, in kangaroo leather Patrick boots, the ball is likely to be a Litre Multiplex.

I'm very proud of this picture as my Dad worked me very hard as i grew up to become both left and right footed ( I was naturally right footed).
