It may even be that in the McKenna situation, the sale funds a replacement (£500k) and resigning GMS and Shinnie (let’s say another delta difference of £500k)
£1M off the sale with the rest to fund the stadium deficit.
3 players secured and a chunk towards the stadium.

Aberdeen as a club need to be more successful in selling players.
It’s potentially the best source of boosted revenue.
Our support is simply not enough.

Before you say it, even at the height of our success, we did not sell out, so I can’t consider any arguments that a successful team will drive the revenues to make that sustained.
