FA Cup Day

Still means summat to me and no doubt many more of my generation who grew up with this wonderful old competition .

Looking forward to this afternoon and a break from the pressure of league football .

It's a shame the attendance will probably be half of what we normally pull in when back in the day it would be the reverse .

Seen us play in every round bar the final , we live in hope that one day we could do a Wimbledon or a Wigan .

I'd die a happy man if that happened .

Aye , completely bottled it didn't he , one of the saddest days as a tyke I can remember, never get a better opportunity to have made an FA cup final than that year .

Really down coming away from the stadium , we had a good drink in central london before catching the last train home at about 12.30 am and it eased the pain a little .
