Weve had a good run of results but still really tight in bottom half of table. Thought we may have pulled clear of the bottom 3 after this run.

Who let the red smoke bomb off when we scored?

He / her must have had it inserted somewhere because we were all searched when we went in

This game went exactly as I thought it would, a backs to the wall battling performance and a 1-1 draw. A well earned point from a difficult game.
First half was evens and we handled them well.
Second half they had us under the cosh. A goal against the run of play. ....Yes
Credit to Ryan Williams for beating his man and crossing for Smudger. When that ball came to Smudger he was being undressed by their centre-back, blatant shirt pulling. Lovely to see the ball drop into the far corner.
No idea if their goal was offside although it looked like it took a deflection on the way through.

Difficult to pick a MOTM.....Rodak - on top form, Smudger for his usual 100% effort rewarded with a goal.
    My MOTM was Robertson.

Another away point, 5 games undefeated and another point nearer safety.

Credit to the 685 away supporters....well done.

I could have put it better Patty.

He made 3 really good, exceptional saves but the rest of the saves he made you'd have expected any keeper to make.

Can someone explain the reason why we were up in the top tier of the stand or was it to try and kill the atmosphere and the players could not see us behind the goal seemed absolutely stupid to ask 700 fans to climb all the way up there didn't it happen at MK when we won 4-0.

We could clearly see Zippy when we scored . At one point I thought that he was going to jump over the fence to kiss Smudge.

Last time we sat in the lower stand. Home fans also used that Lower Stand, segregated from away fans. This season Blackburn have moved home fans out of the Darwen Stand altogether.
The official explanation is they are expecting bigger away support from the 3 relegated Premier League clubs, Leeds, both Sheffield clubs, Preston, Wigan and Bolton. The Darwen Stand both upper & lower seating area holds approx 8k in total.

Maybe they put us in the top tier so we were knackered climbing up 6 / 7 flights of stairs.

Ps...still not as high as Newcastle away.

Excellent result. Couldn't listen in the end, so watched England lose a rugby match. Heard Ronnies post-match comments, good enough for me. No doubt they will be disappointed about 'little' Rotherham getting a point, but they should know, Blackburn Rovers minus Jack Walker equals Rotherham United.
