I've seen quite a bit of negativity aimed towards him recently on here and the signing of him. I myself believe it was Rafa's decision to sign him and didn't think it was one of his better ones. Well today with him looking the fitest I've seen him since he joined, I think he looked a real force up top. 2 good goals and some great hold up play. Rafa knows best and I'm starting to believe Rondon could be a real asset. Loved how much he embraced the Toon cheering when he celebrated. Howay the lads.

Agree, when that cross came in for his second it was just easy for him. More service like that and he will be banging them in.

Yes, sometimes a yellow card like that can be a good thing for the team if they are under a lot of pressure, get's the adrenaline going.

Sitting upstairs in Bar Loco. Rondon reminded me of Shearer today. He was superb. If we can get 3/4 of that each game we’ll be ok.
