Remember it well, Soulman...... 5-1 up at 1/2 time kicking towards the BRE, and we Brummie Roaders walked round to the Smethwick 2nd half. Half of the Burnley fans had already left.
(I think The General scored twice 2nd half).

I remember Burnley having a scrawny young lad on the wing. Looked too young and too small and he was useless. I believe it was his debut. He went on to become an English international: Dave Thomas.

I was 2 1/4. May well have been there but don't recall it. I know our record score is 12-0 v Darwin. I wasn't at that one!
