OT - Our Glorious Town in the 60s

Not very PC for todays snowflake community when they describe how local services are available for "sub normal" people putting hair combs onto boards. Also noticed no colonial faces.

My dad told me that the pub name and licence was transferred from the original Ring o' Bells in Church Street ( Rotherham town centre), when it was demolished, to the then new pub at Kimberworth Park. No idea if that is true though.

true and had many a drink in both old Ringer just had 2 rooms very small
