    Richard Scudamore

Scudamore is about to retire and Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck, who is a mate of Scudamore, thinks that every Prem club should chip in £250K to give him a £5M retirement gift.
Scudamore has been earning £2.5M per year apparently.

    Should we stump up?

A massive "no" from me. The organisation should be giving more money to the lower leagues clubs who really need it, not to a bloke who quite obviously doesn't.

Another episode in the 'Football Has Gone Crazy' book. Greed rules, those who have the most just want more, although to be fair, it isn't Scudamore that is asking. What planet is the Chelsea Chairman living on?

he wants Dosh, because he done the Dosh deals - in recognition of the Dosh game.....that's the reality, the real Star in todays Football, it's all about the Dosh - so yes - why not "Pay" him "True" Homage - with Dosh from all those that hit the PL Jackpot - the League that every Team wants to be in....and why.....because of the DOSH !!!

Before we pay out £250k to a very rich man we should consider giving gifts to our own fans.

In 2004 we launched the 500mile club to save us from Administration. We asked for 500 fans to gift the club a £1000 each to save the club from collapse.

I don't think 500 were found but plenty did, including my mate. Isn't it time we returned these gifts (maybe even as 2x season tickets) to the real fans who in the words of the club at the time saved the club "in it's darkest hour".

I asked Mike Garlick about this at the Q&A session at the turf, this is after he had ignored my original email, he said yes they should consider it. However that was a year ago, nothing has happened.

I think they should have some of those collection buckets outside every PL ground, then us ordinary fans could contribute to Mr Scudamore's leaving present. I'd contribute, I've loads of spare buttons I need to get rid of.

Don't expect any "Favours" from a second hand car salesman.
