We wouldn't have to up the tempo too much before we were able to have our very own 'Manager of the Month' competition!

Let’s face it, our 2 recent owners have been taken in by presentations, buzz words or decent playing careers. What we need is a manager that knows our division well.
Because he is an arrogant thinks he knows something about the game fool who never learns from his monumental errors, he's an accident waiting to happen again and again. That's why!

Change the bloody record, we know you are upset with him and Notts and you have an agenda, but it's getting boring now every post the same.

This is interesting on Hurst: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46235583

But Caldwell said: "It's too soon for Paul to come back to this club."

He told BBC Shropshire: "A lot of things went on which obviously not everybody's privy to. Some things have come out recently, the way everything happened in the last few months before Paul left, clearing his desk before the biggest game in our history.

"There's no doubt interviews took place before that. Things come out in football. People talk. Eventually you find out more and more truths.

Must say i'm NOT overwhelmed by the managerial candidates but it is what it is, we are in a relegation scrap and not a particularly excting job prospect.

Having said that, Paul Hurst seems to me the best of the options available to us - that's assuming that Gary Bowyer is still on his sabbatical break??

Does that mean he knew he was going to Ipswich and cleared off before their big game .
Not very professional if true but that's only inferred here, we don't know.

It's the same thing Mark Cooper did before we got spanked in our final game of the season when he was here and most people seemed okay with it and welcomed him back.
