Be very afraid, VAR is coming!

    That's it for me!

Apparently all agreed in principle, but I won't be watching that particular pantomime.

Can't think of a better reason to hope that we may get relegated so I would continue going to the Turf.
Big dilemma really because I don't want us to be relegated, however, I will not be travelling down to watch games ruled by VAR, particularly the way it ruined the World Cup Final by forcing a referee to change a correct decision in order to help France win the trophy.

It certainly won't stop me from watching but I do not agree with it.

Arguing about "bad" decisions has always been an important part of the game. Great debates afterwards in the pub or at work. Footy is a passionate game, this will make it a little more sterile.

Players make mistakes, so do managers and so do officials. Let's keep it real, eh?

VAR is a great implement to improve our game, IF it is used properly with players having a say in it, what it still does is leave the decisions in the hands of Refs and the Authorities, who IMO are the main problem.

Cricket and Rugby League/Union, along with Tennis are all black and white decisions.
What constitutes handball in football? Certainly not what was given, with the aid of VAR, in the World Cup Final.

EIGHT times the video referee looked at the ultimately disallowed England try against the All Blacks on Saturday and he still got it wrong. VAR is rubbish, FIFA are rubbish, our FA is rubbish. Rubbish, Rubbish, Rubbish, Rubbish and more Rubbish!

He got it right according to the Laws of Rugby Union even though it was extremely marginal.

it did Sub - and without it - if the decision had gone the other way....and Croatia would have gone on to win the game - then what would folk be saying - that the ref should have given it ?
