We DO own the ground. It is the land it sits upon that the club doesn't own.

But, the club has a lease on that land that will far exceed any of our lifetimes, so, why wouldn't you build on it?

I'll be happy lifting any trophy. I won't be happy if we get relegated or do badly but times change and you become accustomed to whatever situation you find yourself in.

But this isn't what this topic is about but it's being changed to me wanting lesser football which is far from the mark.

The topic was about 5 questions on Hall and Ashley.
I answered those as honestly as I could. I answered them from my point of view not by following some kind of narrative based on a majority view.

Why do you feel the need to justify your opinion so often? It’s the sign of a closed mind.

i always thought when you sold a property the mortgage got paid of and a new buyer took amortgage on to purchase the property

and sheppard and his robbers would have bennefitted from an increased price in the sale due to increased capacity .

and still managed to have a huge debt even with the increased gate money revenues etc etc

Is that "probably similar" in your eyes.
    buttkk threw it away
and sheppard brought in the wrong player

so we have as many trophies in the cabinet under ash as we did sheppard

SOME OF us had good days out in europe
te rest watched it on the telly

infact we have 2 more trophies under ash than we did sheppard

and believe me they were great days out

probabaly not prem days like the stay aways wanted but as a match going fan believe me i would play any day in the fizzy over the prem .a much better experiance

Why even get into it? You’re arguing with someone who actually thinks promotion should count as great succes - albeit on a lesser scale than winning the Premier League of course

Thanks Mr. Ashley for getting us relegated twice so we could truly experience succes!
