I don't see how you can say or claim to know that the squad is better than it's showing.

Because it's showing it is better. It's as plain as the nose on our faces with the addition of squad players coming into the fore.

As you say, the team needs more investment from Ashley in order to improve and climb the table. That part of it has nowt to do with Rafa.

That part has a lot to do with Rafa in spending it correctly on the right players. If he needs to use players to wheel and deal.

If Ashley understands how to avoid "massive problems later on", how come he hasn't invested anything towards maintenance of the ground? That will lead to both physical problems in terms of the state of St. James' and the fans turning against him even more, if that's possible. That's just plain silly.

The maintenance of the ground is superficial in the main.

It's in no more need of maintenance than most other grounds, apart from the new/newish builds.
