Just tucking into my large slice of humble pie, good performance from the lads today. Amazing how much better we look in defence without Ray in the team.

Today's performance and result has really silenced the critics. This is basement football, with the majority of teams on low budgets. This was a really good advert for this league and we must remember that the problems in general stem from the very top. The management are working flat out under difficult circumstances. Artell is a rookie manager, without the guidance from above of an experienced hand. We have to give him the length of time and chances that Davis had, to progress in the future. It is not an easy task.

Just had a look at the highlights, and the goals look even better than in real time. Callum Ainley is some player.His goals were very well taken, and the assist for the 3rd was spectacular. Jordan Bowery was fantastic in the buildup to the 2nd goal.
