Financially a very important game and a must win to get into the next round. However the attendance will probably
be even less than the 1,200 die - hards who turned out last week - Saturday games in the run up to Christmas always
affects the crowd and quite a few season ticket holders wont buy tickets for cup games.

It is also The Dumfries Whisky Festival where plenty of well know faces can be seen staggering around!

There's always some excuse isn't there ? Holidays , Dumfries Show , Christmas, the weather , Scotland games, even blooming whisky festivals etc etc . Frustrating and sad to watch something that has been hugely important in my life slowly but surely dying off .

Once Naysmith goes, a n other will come in and unrealistic expectations will be heaped on the incumbent who will quickly realise he should get out at the first opportunity. The post by Truthurts , surprising as it was, struck a chord with me . We all need to take heed and rally around OUR club. The thought of Qos fading into the abyss is too painful to think of. Lets do something before the stable door is locked up and all we have are fading memories. Queen of the South are far too important to let that happen so come on, if you can go to a particular game then do it and lets build this football club back up.

as iv said in a previous post ,something needs to be done with new and floating fans in mind there needs to be a poll done excluding current queens fans with the question what would it take for you to go watch queens ,this kinda survey needs done so queens board know why these fans dont want to attend then something might be able to be done to persuade them ,there resons will range from current prices to ambition and whatever else ,but it would be a good insight for the board to find out what these people want to get them through the turnsyles .

i think big jt and his wife at the time were onto a good thing in having rock concerts at palmy ,money to be made there ,but the correct choices in what bands play at them need made ,an experienced marketer of that field of work would be good .

This is Dumfries. A concert featuring U2 and a re-uniting of Oasis wouldn't sell out in this place. Apathy towards most things here.

Bang on! Surprised something like this hasn't been done but then again I am also not very surprised. Easy enough to pull together a free survey and distribute across our fan base to get a feel for the positives and negatives at the club.

But who’s going to do it ? There’s always plenty of ideas being put forward by supporters but when it’s comes down to it nobody will offer their services to help. This my friend is the real problem. Plenty moans & groans but the reality is the Queens support is so divided with their own opinions & agendas but when the club wants help very few people offer their services.

Unless we change our attitudes then NOTHING will change IMO.

It’s time we ALL got together and helped out any way we can
