Thread: No draught lager in Main Stand concourse.

  1. #1

No draught lager in Main Stand concourse.

Perhaps a sign of our demise from the Championship days.
Only bottled lager available from the fridge...or draught Guinness.
Not checked that bar out for many a year but looked a poor state of affairs.

I suppose this makes a change from calling for the manager to be sacked!

The hot chocolate is a delight. At £1.80 a cup, it is the cheapest around too. Pity that chip van has disappeared now. They were the best fish, chips and peas around.

Well must give the choc. a go. The coffee is brownish but don't know what it is but no chance of getting a caffeine rush. Last season ordered a coffee, sat down and realised it was TEA !!!
Took it back and they wouldn't believe me till they tasted it !!!

Have you tried the fish and chips from the actual chip shop since it became 'Benny's',Mick?
I haven't as yet so just wondering how they compare with before.

Not as yet, R & W. A chap who sits with us has tried the chips and he says they are very nice. As for the fish, I have not heard. Must give them a go sometime.

Went a while ago and was ok but not as good as a couple of owners ago. Might be being unfair with just one visit
