    Szmodics is a good shout but we need to be spotting these players before they're on the national stage (didn't they turn down a big Bournemouth bid quite recently ?). Understand Colchester have several good young lads coming through.

    Just an FA cup win would be good enough, cant remember last time we were in the 4th round.

    2002/2003 last time.only been in the 4th round 14 times, 5th round twice.

    As if those FA Cup stats aren't bad enough wait until you factor in the following:

    Since first entering the second tier in 1951 (Rotherham Town and County had played in the second tier, but Im talking RUFC here), we have spent 40% of the subsequent seasons at that level (and thus often getting early round byes in the FA Cup).

    So when people (often condescending) tell you that RUFC dont belong in the second tier of English football they're talking out of their aris.

    Ps, I reckon for a club of our size we probably have the worst FA Cup record in the entire country.
