I totally agree with you but it always appears to me we’ve not got either the staff or enough volunteers. Our PR remains absolutely terrible

I'm sure most Queens Trust members would be willing to do PR for the club.

At present we are a full time club by name only. We are Part timers in budget, PR, crowds and marketing.

Sorry but sadly it’s a fact.

I think off the field Queens have only 4 employees.

Kev the groundsman , Danny Community/Commercial officer plus the 2 young ladies in the office , and one of those is part time.

Everyone else ( I think ) are volunteers.

Costs are kept as low as possible to put as much into the first team as they can. The directors have an unenviable job trying to keep us full time. I just dream of winning the lottery and helping them out.

On a similar theme, I want to talk about Dumfries in general. I am often off for a couple of days midweek as a shift worker. When walking around Dumfries , I think to myself that a lot of these people I see shuffling around have nothing . You can tell they are in dire poverty . I dont know if other area's are as bad as I have only ever lived in this town. Bookmakers only ever thrive in poor area's as ordinary folk chase the never ,never or never ever if you like . Look how many we have on the High Street hoovering up money that those involved can barely afford to lose. Most of the factories dissapeared , losing hundreds of decent paid jobs and this place is hurting.

Advertising games & other events on the official site & social media costs nothing yet we still can’t do it like most other football clubs.

Huge match today as Formartine will be up for it and hopefully Queens can put behind the last 20 mins from last week to get this important win to put as in the next round.

The 4th round draw is at 5.45pm.

I'm afraid that I missed my first home game of the season because of wife's plans made months ago. Can anyone be kind enough to tell me how we played ?
