Rondon deal full time ,makes room for another loan

Latest one is rondon to come here full time and swap clubs with gayle meaning we can bring in another loan .what do you think ?

If it was just a straight swap then i'd probably say go for it but his goal record shows he's inconsistent so I'd rather see how he does for the full season before splashing £16 mil or whatever it was for him.

Why not keep him on loan,sign someone else with the "money",if there is any to spend.See if he comes good then when the next lot of tv money is paid and if we stay up we will have more than enough to buy him with.Oh wait,Ashley and Mash holdings get that.

Did'nt he sign a new contract before he joined on loan

I might be wrong but I think it was just his 16m release clause ran out and not a new contract.

Either way i think we're right that the clause is gone.

I'd like to see Gayle back but i think that Mick is right that we won't see him here again in Toon shirt.

I think with Rondon you're damned if you buy him and damned if you don't. Hopefully he stays in form for the rest of the season and we get him permanently in the Summer, he's getting up there in age too which Ashley wont like. You pays your money and you takes your chances.
