If you subject all the usual suspects to trial by Wikipedia then Brown's your man.

Good news for Nottingham's Tanning Booths then.

Who in their right mind would sack someone and then re-employ them? The clue is "right mind". Madness. Complete and utter.

It's true though, isn't it? He left Southend, a club of similar size to us, higher than he found them. He went to Swindon and they won here, but the owner there is a Trew/Hardy serial sacker who actually has managed the club himself for a while (see link). His record really wasn't sack worthy (31% win ratio: 10 wins, 10 draws, 11 defeats). He has taken two teams through the play offs, which must tick a box.

    Swindon sack Brown

Why, are you going to buy and run the club you clown? 🤡

Dare I suggest that Phil Brown wouldn't be as bad as some people think, he's certainly better than most of the other realistic options like bringing back Nolan or Allen.

This ^^^. Might not be the most popular appt but he DOES have a decent win rate and I personally would sooner see him appointed than Nolo.

Oh God, please not Brown the clown. His one bit of success was a decade ago , he blew that doing his half time team talk on the pitch, it's been downhill ever since.
Swindon fans couldn't wait to see the back of him. He trod water at Southend for years without ever really moving them on, failed at Derby and there's absolutely no reason to suppose that it'll all come good at Notts.
