It's an out from me – fresh start, no evidence any of the current coaches are good at their jobs.

Who is classed as backroom? If it's Chettle ans Crossley then yes, get rid. Not sure about anyone beyond that, kit man, bus driver, half time orange slicer??

Chettle should stay and revert to his usual role IMHO

Crossley and Paul Hart out. That'll save a few quid

And who woud you replace Crossley with? There can't be many better qualified experienced goalkeeping coaches than Mark Crossley available to us in League 2 imo and if you think we should get by without one good luck attracting any half decent goalkeepers when the time comes to bring any in as not having one would put us in a vast minority of clubs. There's a reason teams have them and we're not above it.

Crossley doesn't need to be replaced. If he was responsible for GK recruitment then he seems to be lacking but if Chettle is on the alleged 80k a year for coaching Ilkeston Town (his first role) then he needs moving on quickly. How he justifies that wage is crazy.

Del, if you don't mind me adding that you are preaching to the converted and sadly they see the Trio as being Red Dogs. it is therefore immaterial how good they maybe or what qualifications they hold. They are to them Red Dogs, end of.

Have we really got a backroom staff anymore? Under Nolan, it was Thomas and Crossley as assistants. Kewell had Feeney and Crossley although Crossley was very much a goalkeeper coach. I don't think Chettle interacts greatly with the first team squad, he's more focusses on the development players. It's not like last year where you had Smith and Edwards there as well
