Well deserved 2nd goal for them. No argument with that.

don't know how much we paid for traore , but i hope we have kept the receipt.

read somewhere that this new wolves team are going to give some team a proper tonking.

don't see see that happening at all.

too easily knocked off the ball.
too easily give the ball away
    too easily waste corners

too easy for hudds in general.

I have used several adjectives to describe our performance over the last two seasons, but this is the first time I have been forced to use rubbish. We allowed a team sitting bottom of the Premiership to look like world beaters. They had their tactics worked out, and despite blatant time wasting as early as the third minute, Huddersfield thoroughly deserved the three points.

They played five in midfield and physically bullied us out of the game, worked hard to stop us playing out from the back, and made us look ordinary. They are becoming our real bogy team. Cav and Costa along with Moutinho looked lightweight and were too easily knocked of the ball, even Boly was looking uncomfortable under the physicality. Thank god Cody was on the pitch, or it could have been a massacre. Vinagre did well as did Morgan Gibbs-White when he came on but the rest off the team today need to have a long hard look at themselves.

Wolves 1 Man City 1- Man United 1 Wolves 1 Arsenal 1 Wolves 1- Wolves 0- Huddersfield 2 says it all really.

It could be time to get Saiss back into the midfield, to enable us to compete there for the ball.

There are two games so far this season that i have come away and stated Wolves have got what they deserve, the Watford defeat and the one today. What i see similar in both defeats is Wolves have been pressed high when on the ball. Our full back threat has been stopped and our midfield not given time on the ball.

Fair play to Huddersfield, they set their own tempo when in possession of the ball. Their keeper was happy to slow the game down, happy to go long to their forward, knocked the ball down to bring the likes of Billing, Mooy and Pritchard into play. I thought both Billing and Mooy were excellent for the visitors.

What a total contrast in performances today's was to that of the one away to Arsenal in our last game. I think Wolves' style of play is more suited to playing against the likes of Arsenal, Man.City, Man.Utd and Spurs. When we are faced with high pressing opposition we struggle.

To think only one enforced change was made to the side that faced Arsenal. I think Vinagre can offer Wolves something going forward, but defensively he looked a bit lightweight, but all over the pitch, especially the first half we rarely one any 50/50 balls, our passing was off the standard we have got used to and was often rushed, but when the outlet isn't there, we go long. It's all very well lumping it up to Jiminez, but even with his hold up play and flick ons, he has no back up. At least he had some sort of back up once Traore and Gibbs-White came on.

Huddersfield in the first half deservedly took the lead, it's just a pity at 1-0 wolves couldn't offer anything of note. The half was as bad as the Watford first half. The changes at the start of the season half couldn't come soon enough with both Traore and Gibbs-White coming on for Cavaleiro and Moutinho. I think Wolves often sit too deep when both Moutinho and Neves start, but it serves us well when hitting the so called bigger clubs on the break.

There's often times in games when i look at turning points in games, there were two in the second half for Jiminez, the chance cleared off the line and the chance where he was through on goal being played onside by the injured Huddersfield defender. Better decision making needed, but again no Wolves player within distance to play the ball to. I'll have to see the second Mooy goal again as at the time i thought Patricio could have done better with the free-kick.

Four defeats in five now and already i think we need to start getting points on board, starting with game away to Cardiff on Friday!

We couldn't deal with the high press... Nuno needs to adapt our formation when sides do this it may need an extra player in central midfield as we looked seriously under manned just like against Watford... I'm sure Colin will adopt the same tactics so it will be interesting to see how we shape up on Friday, maybe Saiss should get a start?

Three bad performances in 50 or so is forgiveable (Forest at home last season, Watford and Huddersfield at home this)... on to the next one.
