The first tackle on Grealish should have produced a yellow card, it would have stopped all the other tackles that were flying in. The tackle on Adomah did not get a card and how many times did Gardner follow through or leave a boot in and the ref did nothing! I think weve lost Adomah for a few weeks now.
Whelan actualky got stuck in but never produced a pass. This game may have ended up 6 o7 if McGinn was playing.

Whelan was playing like a 3rd CB to help out the injured Chester. He had a fine game. Grealish was fouled 10 times before the ref decided to brandish a card. No other player has been fouled 10 times in a game in our league including Grealish himself. No outfield Blues player completed as many passes as times Grealish got fouled! How’s that for an in indictment? Our sub Elmo played 13 minutes plus stoppage time and completed more passes than any outfield Blues player and as many as the whole lot of them. I believe Grealish may have completed more passes than their entire team as a collective.
