    The Globe Inn (Burns Howff) Dumfries

    Changes hands this weekend and will be closed from Sunday 2nd December for a week. The McKerrow family who have owned the pub for decades have now sold Rabbie Burns old hostelry to Annandale Distillery.

    Heard from someone who knows that new owners will be good for the Globe, they have already removed the jukebox and the pugies, the place needs a lift, just have to wait and see what's the new owners plans

    Let’s hope so but removing two items that actually make money. Strange !!!!
