    Neves on thin ice.

Ruben Neves has amassed four yellow cards this season, and one more will see him take a one game ban. I believe it is six more games before the sheet is wiped clean. Last year he was forced to miss the away game with Birmingham.

Is it worth Nuno leaving him out against Cardiff? Because if he picks up another card he will miss the game against Chelsea next Wednesday.

I'd be fine with keeping him in against Cardiff, even if it meant he missed Chelsea. The Chelsea match is one that you can stomach a loss because they're a very good team. Against Cardiff, we want three points and having Neves on the field gives us our best chance to get those three points. Worry about getting points in hand rather than potential points down the road IMO. Especially with an always congested winter schedule coming up.

I'd be more averse to starting him because of potential injury vs potential yellow card accumulation. Who know what shenanigans that Warnock will have his team up to.

As above, it's games against the likes of Cardiff that Neves should play. We need to start getting points on the board asap. Wolves aren't expected to get anything against Chelsea, but the same was said against Arsenal, Man.City and Man.Utd.
