Actually i think the opposite. Yesterday he wasn't sure when to put a vote of no confidence in government as he wasn't sure he could win,now he has an extra 117 reasons to be confident he can win it.

Also theresa May yesterday was concerned about 48 Letters now she as seen 117 go against her. Do you think she has won tonight?

I think you are right but tonight showed the folly of attempting to rebel too early. Sit tight until the time is right. When May comes back from another humiliation from her EU mates she will have no chance against a vote of no confidence.

May wins 63 - 37 but Rees-Mogg says she really lost very heavily.

Brexit wins 52 - 48 and it's a resounding win and we must accept the will of the people and leave the EU at any cost.

    You couldn't make it up!

Do you think Conservative MPs would vote with Labour and the other rag taggle band and risk losing their seats in parliament?
The DUP are saying they would support the govt. In a no confidence vote

I can't ever remember a PM saying before a general election that this would be a one off vote and there would not be another one like Cameron did before the referendum.

Corbyn will never win an election which is why he'll not submit the vote of no confidence. The Labour voters are so split he'd never get the numbers. His only way of getting into power is to side with the SNP in a hung government and they'd want to either stay in the EU or have another independance referendum to back him.

May won yesterday because no one else wanted the job

He could get a hung parliament and rule with the help of others, like May has with the DUP. But when your enemies are urging you to take a particular course of action, it's always wise to be suspicious of their motives.

Anyway, rising above people's obsessive hated of Corbyn for a minute, what is best for people who want Brexit? In all honesty, maybe a win for the Tory rebels last night, but given that failed, it is wise to let May try to renegotiate. When that doesn't work, Corbyn is Brexit's only hope.
