Mark Hughes out Sean Dyche In

Southampton have sacked Mark Hughes. Again I see a team that is trying and play reasonable football and longer term they will not be in the bottom 3. So given SD has not been given the funds to improve the squad then it would not surprise me if SD went to Southampton. We always leave ourselves open to such moves. The problem is if we do go for somebody else we will have to promise funds for new players why not give them to SD???

I honestly believe it’s time for a change Lancaster for both parties , the man is honourable and has taken us as far as I think he can.
I’ll watch with interest if he does get another appointment to see what style of football he plays with the players he has.
I think he’s very rigid in what he does tactically so it will be good to see if he can adapt with more creative footballers.

Which raises the obvious question for all those who want Sean out...who would you replace him with?

There is no one from the Prem who would come. I agree that Mark Hughes would be dreadful.
If Big Sam came then I would not go anywhere near Turf Moor with him in charge. The bloke should have been banned from footy for life after what he did.
But he wouldn't come anyway, he would demand £££ to spend, and we don't play those games.

If we got someone from a lower league then you would be shouting, "Typical lack of ambition. Cheap option again"

So come on, who would YOU replace him with?

    Not easy is it?

Interesting that, what comes out of these comments is, the fact that people don't support the team, as I do, they just support whichever manager is in charge!
It doesn't matter to me who is manager because players, managers, directors etc. all change over time, however, the club remains the same and needs support and it is the fans who give the club this support.

    Hi Super!

Yes, no matter who is in charge or how badly we are doing I will always support the Clarets.

But I would draw the line at Big Sam. The bloke is just a self serving greedy, cheating crook - everything that I have zero respect for. I just couldn't bring myself to watch him on the touchline in charge of my team.

If you could, well that's fair enough. Would you still go on if Sepp Blatter was our manager?

Ha has, 59_60-- the question of Sepp Blatter would never come into the equation because he was never likely to become a manager --he made enough out of the game without reaching any heights at all.
I would go and support the lads no matter who was manager, as long as they were giving their all during the game.
You really have to accept that the game, as a whole, is corrupt and there is a lot going on that we will never know about, however, if you love the game, you will still try to support your club, even if you do not attend matches.
All the moaning and groaning going on at the moment could mean that we lost around 8 to 9 thousand attendees --strange that this would put our average gate down to what it was when we were playing at level 3 in the football league, some twenty years ago.

What we are seeing unfold before our eyes is tactical suicide by Burnley and a team destined for relegation.

You can put the blame entirely on the Board for holding back funds but I say, once again, that SD has spent huge money on worthless players. And having bought them, doesn't play them unless their name is Hendrick.

He doesn't shuffle the pack and use any Development squad players or give Heaton a chance between the sticks.

So it doesn't matter who we get as a replacement. We need one to clear the air.
