    Messi must have no trophy space left in is case. Ronaldo never liked him always seems to be all about him. Messi more of team player

    Thought Modric didnt do much at the world cup apart from that goal against Argentina, missed the pen v denmark, same with Madrid, was a great player but to old now. suppose its a change from Messi and Ronaldo winning it every year

    Balon d'or, don't really care who wins it, it's all relative isn't it ? Depends on what you class as a great player, Modric is a good player but I certainly wouldn't class him as one of the greats.

    I agree however i am happy that one of Messi or Ronaldo hasn't won it again.

    Yes, there's that as well. Might see Messi win it again but Ronaldo's legs are gone.
