    Next up - Celtic

Motherwell and Celtic will meet for the first time this season at Fir Park on Wednesday evening. We will have to produce a massive improvement over Saturday's performance if weare to make a contest of it. - External Link

Celtic's last league results are 3-0, 0-0 (! on the Livi pitch mind and straight after a huge win over Leipzig), 5-0, 5-0, 4-2, 6-0. Combine that with good European form, comfortably winning the cup etc and it's clear they're back on it. It's a shame we didn't get them August/September when they were still in a funk.

You would hope that midweek after winning the cup is the best time to get them since then but the fact is their reserve side will probably still be much better than us. If we escape without disgracing our goal difference, take it, shrug it off and move on.

I'm saying we have no chance tonight, simply because I said that before the Aberdeen game and we won 3 0. Hoping I can work some magic again.
