it's all an act.
Boris is pretending that the piece of s'hite he has just presented the E.U. with is a serious document.
The E.U. are pretending to consider it before telling him to stuff it up his a'rse.
It's not like this is a surprise but it's a bit boring.
Government put forward an offer they knew the EU would never except so they can pretend they wanted a deal. Then when they are inevitably told to do one they blame the EU for being unreasonable.
All so obvious but your average brexiteer is thick as pigs **** and lap up the whole Johnson/Cummings charade.
Apparently it was so bad that The EU asked if parts of it were a mistake.
I really don't know why they just won't trust Boris, surely then have learnt that the English know best.
I'm more and more on board with Stewarty's theory that one (or more) of the EU 27 has/have been knobbled.
The alternative, namely that de Pfeffel et Al are just acting this way because they think it's the right way to act, is perhaps even more worrisome.
They are all still adamant we're leaving on the 31st. Could be like you say or they could be thinking if they keep on saying we really are leaving whether we have a deal or not, regardless of the Letwin agreement then they may persuade enough swing voters to push through their deal next week.
Its actually beginning to get a bit of traction on some media outlets. Wouldn't be surprised if Austria were considering the veto.

If it happens, independence is coming.
