Just two points from safety and at least they’re up there...more than you can say for us and Boro’ who both got rid of him.
I do take your point, especially as they’ve conceded 35 goals already, but I bet they don’t go down.

I very much doubt that Mount will be ready for a starting place at Chelsea next season either. This is the problem though...we’re ‘building for the future’ but with players who may well not be here by then.

Not quite true that its a problem though is it? We have a few loans but have also purchased some players who may well develop further next season, and given we have a few who we need to sell, its a sensible policy, maybe next season when we shift a few unwanted players on, we can replace this years loans with our own players? But even then a prudent approach of loaning a couple or so quality players that can provide the creativity the average championship players can't can just be the difference that achieves promotion.

Do you not think flair players get badly judged in the championship - Wilson may be a season or so off playing for Liverpool, but he is a class player - note flair players tend to be the ones that provide that bit of sparkle that gets goals and creates chances, rather than be in a game all the time, but then class isn't always recognised against a player that supposedly gives 100% effort but makes **** all happen!
