    It certainly was Rammy,he also originated the persona of Alvin Stardust ..He was a great musician and quite a character..

    I was / am priviliged to have watched the The Buzzcocks live on many occasions.
    As always seems to be the case "you don't know what you've got till it's gone"....fantasic band, brilliant songs / lyrics, they / he influenced the music of the time and the future more than seems to be recognised.
    Looking back it puzzles me how even after the various line ups and changes they are still considered a punk band....who cares, a very sad loss but some wonderful memories of gigs in small venues, before they became "famous".....
