    Dobbie Injured

With the news that Sir Stephen is out for the next few games does this scupper or chances of getting a playoff spot this season. It obviously gives others the opportunity to show what they have but who replaces the master up front and plays alongside the ever improving but somewhat goal shy Dykes. Harkins looks to be too slow and I would possibly give Todd a go as he seems to have an eye for goal or do you pitch Stirling with his pace there. Discuss!

I would have Dykes playing as the lone striker and be tempted to start Bell or Murray in midfieldwith Todd just behind....4-4-1-1
    Martin

    Mercer
    Marshall
    Fordyce
    Doyle

    Stirling
    Jacobs
    Harkins
    Bell/Murray

    Todd

    Dykes

Great result today at Dingwall seems we set up 442,Dykes & Todd upfront, Doyle in midfield, We have Alloa away before we play Ayr too.

Thats a very good result especially after being one down to high flying County. We also came back after trailing Ayr away with ten mins to go. There is a fair bit of fight in our team guys .

This draw keeps the momentum going for a home game against Dunfermilne next Saturday. Now, if we can just keep picking up a few results while Sir Dobbie recuperates .

This was great result given the circumstances with both Dobbie and Harkins out the team showed great heart which was precisely what was required. Well done guys next up the Pars at home.

This is what i dont understand: We played Dobbie up front on his own last week, ineffective, frustrating to watch, rarely works and at home yet Dobbs injured plus Harkins this week, our two key attacking options and we stick two players with pace up front and get a really good result AND away from home!

4-4-2 is old hat in today's game but its by far our best formation and sod what the other team bring to the table.
This is why Alan Johnston's team was so epic. We just went for it every week, Attacked and never over analysed what threat the other team(s) were bringing.

As for a top 4, we have the individual players capable of getting us there but we just lack consistency especially at home. We desperately need a string of victories all be it hard in this division. We could equally be near the top as the bottom.

well just into the top 4 now these next two games become massive pars then alloa ,get the points from these games and its going to be a topper of a tie against ayr ,then the window opens and we have a chance to strengthen our hand for the final push .

Is there any more news on Dobbie’s injury ? Noticed the manager saying he doesn’t think he’ll make the game this weekend. Hopefully fit enough to face Ayr United
