    Gareth Barry

1st class performance last night. (Maybe too much 1-2-1 with Grealish !) However, clearly a seasoned Professional and a valued team member.
Didn’t seem to tire any more than other players last night, despite a tough, spirited performance.(and his age)
I’m sure there are some seasoned statistical posters on here...is he close to a record premiership match record ? Villa, Everton, ManCity and us.

Thought he played well last night and certainly better than Livermore. Johnstone is not a patch on Foster and thought his positioning again was awful - seemed super glued to his goal line!

I'm also beginning to have my doubts regarding Johnstone. He's a decent shop stopper but he doesn't appear to fill the defence with confidence. His distribution is poor, makes poor decisions and doesn't command his area.

Livermore has been playing with a groin injury for a few weeks.

He won't add to that tally with us.

Im not saying Jake don't have an injury but i fail to see what he brings to the table , he's big & powerfully , players feed him well on the edge of the box & you think berry that jake but his shot is as weak as a vicars hand shake he's slow & pondering in midfield , how he played for the
national side I'll never know .

Give Livermore some credit as he marks space brilliantly! Then again, whenever has space scored a goal?

I'm not keen on the keeper either. An older keeper is a good thing. He looks as green behind the ears as anyone i've seen. You need an old head especially in goal.
