    Andy Rose a target

According to this report the Vancouver Whitecaps have our out of contract in the summer midfielder in their sights.

Their season begins in March, wonder if they'll try to get him in January...fingers crossed.

That would get rid of one, hope the other half dozen duds follow him pretty swiftly.

    And he's off: https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2018/...ver-whitecaps/

Good luck to him. He did ok, at times, and while he'd have been fine as a squad player, it's a problem if there's three, four even five gives are all offering the same thing. So shipping him off seems a good move.

It’s official and to maintain the lyrical theme ...

So long, farewell, au revoir, auf wiedersehen
Adieu, adieu, to yeiu and yeiu and yeiu

He was never a favourite as weak in challange, no aerial power and could not drive forward. However, he was good at pointing ! We had better on bench and baffled why started.

This will free up a wage. Andy Rose wasn't as bad as many would have you beleive but by the same token wasn't an unqualified success. His role was to do the dirty spade work, much of it off the ball. Should he have been given a new "1 year" deal in the summer when we knew he was likely to be offski in January? I think the fans were conned a wee bit here.

    Good luck to the guy.

He wasn't the best but he certainly wasn't the worst either and often played a pivotal role in our Cup runs and early season good form last season.

He certainly wouldn't have been anywhere near my top choice for a January offload from this current crop.
