    Lejeune. . . is back. . . sort of

    Lejeune has been training this week and tonight played for under 23s.

    He managed a full 45 before coming off and looked comfortable.

    Toon won 2-1 against Norwich as well for the result.

    That's great news.

    Might see him early in the new year, perhaps?

    Aye, that's what they reckon in chronicle.

    Rafa won't push him, it'll be training and under 23 games. Potentially back in Jan.

    He'll be like a new signing

    Him and Fernandez would be my preferred pairing, tbh.

    Yes, they're similar type players, I'd like to see Schar in there somewhere as well.

    In regards to Mids point I'd still rather not sell Lascelles in Jan myself though.

    We have Lejeune, Fernandez, Schar and Dummers (back up) at CB. If the price was right IŽd let him go as long as (ha ha) the money was invested in an attacker.
