In fairness to Ketts the site is absolutely sh ite for me at times as well, especially when reading/posting from my phone (Android). The more frequent issues via my laptop (when they occur) are slow loading times and being automatically logged out when trying to post. Ironic really as each time I log out manually the site asks if I want to leave.

I think the slow loading times definitely have something to do with the adverts. I know most of us can't see them because of the software 'which shall not be named' which I have on my laptop, but given how many there actually are may well be having an adverse effect regarding server process time.

As an aside and by comparison with the laptop I no longer have the software 'which shall not be named' on my phone as it was taking up too much memory space. I don't think this is a coincidence, ie a lack of AB on my phone causing me inconvenience, having AB on the laptop reducing inconvenience.

I don't think this forum has kicked the bucket yet, but it definitely has been kicked in the boll*ks more than a few times.
