    Mbabu

Lots of fans-me included-were like 'wtf is going on...why isn't Mbabu in the team, he's the best full back we've had at the club in years, etc, etc'. Aye, it was all based on one performance (ridiculous, i know, especially when you consider Hi Fans' debut...) but he looked to have everything you could want in a full back-loads of pace, great on the ball, good tackler, good crosser, positionally solid.

A few wiser souls said well there maybe behind the scenes stuff that we didn't know about and, reading between the lines, it looks like, to an extent, this was the case.

Shame, cos it looks like we'd have had some player on our hands if we'd got him at the right time or in the right frame of mind. Decent of him to be so honest about his own mistakes too. No hard feelings towards him-hope he goes on to have a cracking career.

In his case, as far as i was aware it was alway said he wanted first team football which we weren't prepared to guarantee at that time.

Reading that article, it sounds like his head wasn't in the right place which i reckon contributed to why we didn't either.

I didn't realise he was so injured here though.

I hope he has a brilliant career, just as long as he has stinkers if he ever plays us.
