    Next up - St Johnstone

Motherwell travel to Perth on Saturday in search of a result to brighten up the dark winter days. McDiarmid Park has not been a happy hunting ground for the Fir Park side in recent seasons. Can we turn the tide? - External Link

    Short answer - no.

Would be thrilled with a point. No idea why our record there is so comically bad but current form doesn't suggest it will change on Saturday.

Can't see us picking op anything from this game. St Johnstone are on a great run at the moment.

This fixture hasn't always run true to form. Sometimes when we were on a good run and they were poorer they still mangaed to beat us. Given our relative budgets you'd imagine a home win will be on the cards tomorrow but you never know. If we pick a sensible team, adopt the right tactics and play well (and get a even referee) we stand a fighter's chance.

No logic ... but think we'll carve out a draw.

Another narrow defeat, nothing surer. Then Stephen Robinson will tell us afterwards that we played well, showed great qualities and we move on. Rinse, repeat.
