    Makes sense to me. Just have to hope there are other buyers, and that the Kenyon thing was just an Ashley-led PR stunt to push them down the line toward a bid.

    Ain't you read latest is deal will be done mid January and we are leading the chase for Almiron.. With a £22m bid submitted .
    Ashley's shares in Sports Shiite have tumbled in value , HoF is losing him £3m a week , Debenhams shares have lost about £29 in a year .. Around £5 now ... And he is going to spunk £22m on a player .. Yeah right.

    If the various "groups" trying to buy NUFC cannot assemble £300m to buy a club that they can at least resell for £300m in the future at long at it stays in the PL suggest to me that they don't have the necessary money to invest in players after the purchase.
