Good bit of nostalgia remember the game quite well with MOTD cameras there.

    things I remembered

All 7 goals before half time
David Herd got a hat trick
BRE was half the depth it is now
Chippy Clark with his socks down round his ankles

    things I'd forgotten

Ian Collard at left back v Best (Graham Williams was sub)
the cameras were in the Rainbow Stand. Disorientating to see the BRE to the right!
was it the Rainbow Stand in 1966? What was it called before it was The Rainbow?

The ‘Handsworth side’ or ‘Johnny Walker stand’ ( due to the huge whisky ad on the front ) are the names my old man used.

Yeh. I stood on The Handsworth Side till the BRE choir started in '64.
I can remember walking past Kenneth Wolstenhome (mike in hand) at the top of the terrace, just below the Rainbow seats. I was too frightened to give him dogs' abuse then (as a kid), but I certainly would these days! The cops would have marched me round the pitch in them days in front of the cameras. Wolstenholme was the most biased cockney-loving commentator of them all.
