It really does show MB's philosophy, we have three recognised defensive players in our whole 18 man squad, and whilst admittedly injuries have played a part in that I can't imagine any other manager taking that approach - they'd have either used more of our currents U23s defensive players, or recalled loan players, or brought in emergency loans.
