Is this Championship worse than normal

I know others have commented that this Championship is easy to get promoted than in other years but I am not so sure. It got me wondering what (again) if there is any truth in it backed up by the stats.

The winners of the Championship and the 6th placed teams for the last 6 years are as follows - the score in brackets is the average points per game.
1st place Points. 6th place. Points. Points difference between 1st and 6th
    2018 Wolves. 99 (2.15). Derby. 75 (1.63). 24
    2017. Newcastle. 94 (2.04). Fulham. 80 (1.74). 14
    2016. Burnley. 93 (2.02). Sheffield Wed. 74 (1.61). 19
    2015. Bournemouth. 90 (1.96). Ipswich. 78 (1.70). 12
    2014. Leicester. 102 (2.22). Brighton. 72 (1.57). 30
    2013. Cardiff. 87 (1.89). Leicester. 68 (1.48). 19
    Averages over the 6 years. 94.2 (2.05). 74.5 (1.62). 19.7

Before today’s games the positions at the top of the Championship are
    2019. Norwich. 43 (2.05). Middlesbrough. 36 (1.71)

So for me this is stacking up to be an average Championship at this stage. No stand out teams, like Wolves last year or Leicester in 2014, but to get in the top 6 we will probably need to get to circa 74 points and to win the league around 94.

Do others think it is easier than normal to get promoted this year?

I personally don't think the championship is any worse than any other year its always been a difficult league to get out of , But their is no one stand out side who can dominate the league like Wolves did last year who killed it .
