    Marvellous Motherwell win in Perth

Motherwell earned rare victory in Perth with first half goals from Tom Aldred and Danny Johnson. A miserable winter afternoon was brightened by a fine performance from the men in claret and amber.

All credit to the manager and they players, they gave everything they had and left Perth with a well deserved victory. We are beginning to play as a team again. The defence looked solid and although not his biggest fan McHugh gave everything he had and covered every inch of the pitch. All in all a good and IMO an unexpected victory also added too with both St.Mirren and Dundee losing. Play like this for the rest of the season and I don’t think we will be anywhere near the bottom two

A great result played in shocking conditions. Its a while since we won in Perth but we earned it, albeit the hard way. We've now got to kick on take something from the other fixtures this month. Everything went for us yesterday except the referee.

Its significant that there was no Andy Rose yesterday though.

Tremendous win on what was a superb day for us given the other results.

Hopefully we avoid a hammering on Wednesday and can then take five or six points from the last three of the year.

A comment I could not agree more. Almost TWO season we’ve suffered his mediocraty when had had more attaching options on bench. Why taken Robison so long ? Here’s another observation .. McHugh is NOT a mid-field option.
    Great result.

Did not see this early Chrimbo pressie coming at all! Big toff of the hat to those who travelled up ... I decided to wimp out and enjoy the tweets from afar.
Lets just get the inevitable spanking at Manky Mob Park out the way (they'll be chastened by the Hibees drubbing), then move on to take a hopeful 7 points in the next 3 games.

I'd be seriously tempted to 'chuck' the Parkhead game.

The next three are a much more likely source of points and there's little point in tiring out a first XI which we have just about got into a functioning team before the busy Xmas schedule. It was a mistake in summer to focus so much on squad depth but now we have it, it's time to use it.
