I know there’s been lots of focus on strikers and creative mids (and rightly so!) however we’ve never really sorted out proper full backs who can get up and support with quality crosses and out balls. No rumours or anything on that front? Even just one would be massive.

I think we just need a right back, Booth has been playing well lately IMO.

Rumour, damn rumour has it that we have tabled a bid, maybe into 6 figures for a player that people think is the RB from Ayr United. But with Ceptic reported to be buying another RB, it not too much of a stretch to hope Ralston is our target. But the Ayr lad is supposed to have signed a pre-contract to join us for next season.

Although Siegrist has kept us in 2 games now, i think a brain fart is just around the corner so we need someone. Deniz is close to a comeback, but his contract is up end of the month, although it would be harsh of the club to let him go.

I think Sow will happen and need to see where the lad Harkes plays to see if we need others.

Harkes signed 2 year deal according to US media. Nothing official here and cant see anything in papers. Probably will be announced next Tuesday, if indeed definite.

Edit: Aha he hasnt had a medical yet so won be announced until then

Most people will know his dad John Harkes, but did they know that his grandad is originally from Dundee?

Did St Mirren ask for a loan or to buy Ralston? Could have been knocked back if it was a loan request. Maybe Celtic looking to offload.
