Seasons Greetings to all who contribute to the combined joy and misery of this messsage board.
Remember that it's only a game and whatever happens has no real consequence and shouldn't have any lasting influence on our life.
Have a great Christmas and hope that 2019 will prove to be a good year for you all.

I have always known I am a footballing anorak, but Burnley Football Club resonates throughout my soul. It has been the only real consistent in my life. Sad I know, but totally true. The joy and pain I have experienced supporting the Clarets for well over sixty years is difficult to articulate...

BT --I have been going for 67 seasons, however, you worry too much!! It's only a game!!

Great to play, great to officiate, great as an administrator and wonderful as a Burnley fan over all those years and ----yes ----I have shared your joy and pain, however, nowhere near the most important thing in life which is why I never, ever get upset about what happens at Burnley FC.
If I am honest about football these days, the only thing which would worry me, if I was a worrier, is the way that the game is going ---I just can't believe what I am seeing and hearing.

Merry Xmas one and all. If I liked red wine I would raise a glass of Claret to celebrate the festive season! Come on you Chardonnays doesn’t sound the right note.
