Fair point .... but .... if that £200k player canna fill a gap/role, then the price paid is irrelevant. If a £10k player can be found tae 'warm the bench', one who can 'do a job' and we get £20k for Forrester, then I would see that as progress ... regardless o' the balance sheet.

Since we have started playing 4-4-2 , 9 of our 10 goals have came from crosses (including penalty v St. Mirren when the cross came in). Only goal not from a cross was Ballon D’or driving through on Tuesday. And all 4 goals conceded have came right through the middle.
My vague point is, play to our strengths and we will win.
