    Very sad news. Phil was a real Notts County stalwart and a genuine character too. Always had a smile to greet you (even if he couldn't remember your name which I think was a common trait). He will be sorely missed but not forgotten. RIP my friend and condolences to the family.

    I didn't know him by name, but I regularly came across him at reserve or youth team games selling tickets to aid things like the development squad. There is no doubt he bled black and white, and he is the sort of diehard supporter we can't afford to lose. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

    I didn't know Phil to talk to, I wish I did now, but I recognise his face and saw him around the ground.
    He and his like is why I love this wonderful club of ours. A person that cares, a person that put himself out for the love of his club

    Had loads of time and chats with him he new me by being the notts fans who's son was murded at Burnley v forexx bless him only had a drink on the 8th Dec for my sons passing god bless mate.
