Was told the other day that most of the Eastern European car wash brigade work a couple of shifts to register as self employed qualifying them to benefit entitlement and never work again. Surely it can't be that easy, can it ?

Rotherham police have a unit dedicated solely to Roma so they're making a lot of work for them.

Also most are unemployed so I can't see how they can be called a benefit to the economy, even though our former Mayor went over there and encouraged them to come here (after grants from the government?).

I know they must be laughing their heads off at us back in Slovakia.

All allowed to stay after we leave the EU as well I bet.

The influx of foreign migrants won't stop after we leave the EU as UK businesses are addicted to cheap foreign labour and have no intention of training local people instead.

I was on about the ease to crack our benefit system.
But if you are ok with that , fine.
Plenty of people already here are having benefit cuts.
This bloke was sending £8oo home every month.
    beyond belief.
My reply was to gkotw, get off yer high horse fella, but while we're there, of course you mentioned kids, "family in question"..."his daughter and husband" etc etc etc

Another load of tripe from the king of tripe..."Rotherham police have a dedicated Roma unit" There's a special constable who is a Slovak, hardly a unit....

    Read the link re-unemployment stats...

Allowed to stay?? we have the power to deport if, as you allege, thy're all unemployed...

    Bit of a dig really.
But marek is a well payed man doing a great job.
But as far as the dig goes. And to be a bit pedantic. Marek is a slovak. Less than 1% of romania.

    He's not a Roma gypsy, he's a Slovak.

The "Slovakian Community" of Rotherham (and Sheffield) are actually Roma gypsies from Eastern Slovakia near the Ukrainian border.

The Roma are gypsies originally from India who until recently lived in Romania, Bulgaria and Slovakia, now many have moved, whole villages worth to Western Europe and even the USA.

    Most Romanians are not Roma.
